Lathrop Skatepark
This skatepark is not an "RC track" but nobody cared that I took my Arrma Typhon in the bowl and it was super fun and there are great jumps in the back that land on the grass in middle.
Monte Family Bicycle Park
I've never had any problems when running my RC here. The few times I've visited there weren't any bike riders around, just skateboarders minding there own business in their own separate skate area.
It's been a while but back when I went, didn't see any "no RC vehicles" signs.
Guadalupe Reservior Waterfall
Pretty sweet little waterfall is fun when dry in the summer and when wet in the winter. As you see in my video it was flowing when I was bombing it with my Bomber. Besides the waterfall itself, there are some fun lines to crawl within the rocks just to the side of it too. Find parking along side of road just past it. Access trails may be challenging although upon searching for them some are easier to navigate than others.
Lexington Reservoir Limekiln Canyon
Find the trail to access this spot right near the bridge. As you head toward the main body of the lake you are able to crawl on both sides of the canyon The lower the lake is the more rocks to craw will be reviled and the easier it is to get to them. Watch the water level here as it can fluctuate fairly often and when it starts to dry up, go for it.
Effie's Perc Pond
This perc pond is deep therefore when empty there is a fun climb right where I dropped the pin. It was empty for yeeears and it was good times although they will randomly fill it so check accordingly. Park across the street at the restaurant.
Limekiln Trail wash out
Short hike up the trail, this wash out is fun to see how far up it you can get with your trail truck or Bomber/Wraith.
Guadalupe Oak Grove Park
It's my favorite small spot. Not many lines but what's there is super fun. It's not worth a long drive to get here but if you're in the area defiantly check it out. Bring a fairly capable rig too as it may be too steep for a basic trail truck. See pic below for the details on the lines to crawl.
Stevens Creek Reservoir
Easy access to these rocks as they are along the side of the road with a deep enuff shoulder to park.
Calabazas Creek
There is an opening in the fence between the parking lot and the creek that allows access down to the spot. Once in the creek head to the right, go under the bridge and you'll see the rocks on the right bank. Other rocks to explore down and around that general vicinity. Lots of trees to give shade on a hot day.
Guadalupe Damn Rocks
It takes less than 15 minutes to get there after you get off the highway. Take Hwy85 to the Camden exit and head West toward the mountains on Camden then take Hicks Road up to the damn. You'll see the rocks right along the side of the road near the spillway. I've made it so you can crawl from rock to rock all along there going one way then back the other. Also many lines from ground level on both sides of these rocks to crawl up. Park right next to the rocks or there is a large turn-out about 100 feet further on the right.
Bass Pro Shop Waterfall & dry creek beds.
Believe it or not but yes, I have crawled the Bass Pro waterfall out front! I don't know when but sometimes it's dry although I've crawled it when its flowing too... obviously a little bit more risky then as the consequences for falling in the drink are much more worse. lol
Also for your trail trucks and Wraiths there are two dry creek beds, one on each side of the driveway leading from the waterfall towards Cherry Ave. You'll find many large rocks scattered along the dry creek for crawling and I bet it would be a fun spot to race your buddy down that dry creek and back with your Wraiths or whatever.
So if the wife drags you along to shop at this mini mall, pack the RC in the trunk and when she's not lookin', sneak off to grab the crawler and go check it out. haha.
